When we hear about "branding" it often has something to do with a company's marketing strategy. We, ourselves, have a brand--as does Starbucks, Nike, FIJI water, etc. A brand is essentially the story a company wants to tell and how they want their audience to understand them. It's a combination of their mission, values, and self-truths.
